In 2000, Matt Peterson of respected video outfit Scenic Wonders told USA Today: “…the biggest application (for iPIX bubble technology) will turn out to be something mundane like mall security…” This wasn’t much of a compliment but it turns out Peterson was absolutely right. By mid-2003 iPIX was focusing on what it called real-time spherical video surveillance solutions and the company was selling product in the U.S. and had expanded into the UK market.  -- Security Electronics Magazine
